Welcome to Xandika

If there was ever a need for alternative solutions to the negative environmental consequences of our modern lifestyle, it is now. And what better place to start than facing up to some of the issues created by our flush toilets. Not only do they use over a third of all the fresh water consumed in the UK, but they’re responsible for the degradation of our waterways and marine environment through eutrophication. By reclaiming phosphates & nutrients from human wastes for fertiliser, not only is this pollution reduced, but the environmental and financial cost of purchasing industrial fertiliser are avoided. And when the cost of installing septic infrastructure is calculated, our composting toilet makes a sound financial and environmental choice. If you require printed information on our eco toilet or washroom, please email your name and address to info@xandika.co.uk. Thank you.

Xandika and the Eco Village

The Lammas Eco Village proposal, situated on the farm site of our factory, is nearing permission for it's radical new smallholders development. Sustainability criterea is built-in to the planning process, meaning this project has huge implications for the future of planning and development in the British countryside, and may well lead to changes in planning law and decision-making, which, as with most eco planning applications, is currently woefully inadequate.
