The Really Green Holiday Company
The Isle of WightWhen The Really Green Holiday Company started business in March 2007, they wanted to provide toilet & washing solutions that lived up to the name "really green" yet were luxurious & comfortable. They also needed to be able to move them relatively easily, as their holiday campsite location is subject to change. Since then they've gone from strength to strength, winning awards and getting voted in the top 10 eco breaks in the UK. And they're very happy with their ablution solutions to date.
Camphill Trust Community Gardens
Malton, North YorkshireThe Croft Community Gardens are an exemplary resource for mentally & physically challenged people in the North Yorkshire market town of Malton, providing the opportunity to get involved in growing food and caring for the spectacular site of an old limestone quarry now community gardens. They needed loo facilities which were environmentally friendly yet straightforward... our composting loo is so easy to use that they're very happy with the results.
Private Landowner
Elder Stubbs Charity Allotment, OxfordWhat better idea can you think of than providing allotment facilities especially for homeless folk. The Elder Stubbs Allotment do exactly this, and have been since 1846. They thought it was about time they had decent toilet facilities. Our toilet fitted the bill, blending in nicely and sending nutrient-rich rainwater automatically to their fruit & berries. Hopefully it'll perform as well as their vegetables, winning 6 gold medals this summer.
Barracks Lane Community Gardens
Oxford, EnglandThe Barracks Lane Community Garden is located in the heart of East Oxford. They've transformed a disused auto workshop into a fantastic community gardens which have outperformed all expectations. Due to this expansion, they found themselves needing toilet facilities that could cope with occasional heavy use when they were holding one of their music functions, and yet wouldn't upset any of the close residents by blending into the environment and not producing any odour or other impact. So far, so good!
